Does Your Child Need a Tutor?
Students need tutoring for a variety of reasons, ranging from quick and simple remedies to longer and more involved solutions. However, we firmly believe that with the right tutor, the right attitude, and the right price, miracles do happen- sometimes quickly and sometimes over a period of time.

Do any of the following scenarios sound familiar?

Child doing okay in school but is sometimes having questions, maybe second-guessing him/herself.

We call these children "Insurance Policy Students". Typically, they see their tutor once a week, just to ensure they understand all of their class work and are getting any questions they may have answered. It gives both student and parent a peace of mind.

Child appears to be doing homework etc., but teachers report to parents that work has not been handed in.

We call this "The Mystery of the Missing Work". This is a very common problem. Many students have problems with organization. The child has often completed their work, but it "disappears" between home and school-quite often is has been swallowed up by the book bag. These children often have trouble completing long assignments i.e. book reports, term papers or projects.

Child was doing well, but grades have started to slip.

In this situation, getting a tutor in time will save a lot of struggles in the future. In most cases, if help is sought out, the students will be successful in retaining their good grades. Gaps will not form and they will remain confident.
